How Can I Get 1% Better Today?

The answer – Get a degree from AUTO UNIV.
Stumbling upon podcasts some years ago, I have become an addict. An addict to trying to learn
something new every opportunity I get, in hopes that it will help our team be better.
Leadership, football, mental performance, spirituality, health, anything to help me better for others.
I have a rule, 15 minutes or longer, podcast it is. If we are going anywhere and the drive will be more
than 15 minutes, I will have a podcast or book cued up and we will listen in hopes of getting one nugget.
Some of my favorite podcasts: The Ed Mylett Show, The Learning Leader Show, Jon Gordon Podcast, Life Church Messages, Huberman Lab, Coach & Coordinator Podcast, to name a few. The education one can receive from this is 10x more valuable than that Masters of Education Leadership I received 30 years ago. I have several Doctoral level degrees from Automobile University. The pay is not the same but the influence on my life and impact I can have on others is awesome.
Some of the better books I have listened to: Man’s Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl (Best book I’ve
ever listened to, listened to it once on a 12 hr trip to St Augustine and again on the ride home), Can’t Hurt
Me by David Goggins, The Power of One More by Ed Mylett, Girl Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis (yea I
did), Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey, Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Album, The Red Bandana by Tom Rinaldi, The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown, just to name a few. Oh yea, Where The Crawdads Sing and Unbroken were definitely 2 of my favorites.
Roadtrip? My first thought is heck yea lets roll, another Doctoral degree on the way. I am not a music
hater at all, I do listen to music… Pandora – Hillsong United, on trips under 15 minutes, lol.
Try it out on your next trip. Your kids will learn to bring their Airpods, trust me.
