Anyone remember this song from church? We were in church Sunday and when we began
to sing this song my wife leaned over and said, “This should be your theme song”. Well
one thing for sure, if we would stop and count our blessings we would be in a much better
state of mind and have much more positive influence in the world. There are always
blessings. Storms will come in life but we can always hope for the rainbows. Rainbows are
sent from above so we can know of the beauty around us, even in storms. I love the
analogy of our life running in cycles like the seasons. We go through winter and winter can
be tough but spring is coming. We need to learn to count our blessings in winter because
better times are ahead. A wise man once told me “Things are never as bad as they seem
nor as good, this too shall pass.” Count your blessings today!
