Nixa Eagles Mission Statement: To build and maintain a highly successful football program with student athletes who demonstrate great toughness, fanatical effort, and extreme passion while serving as a
source of pride for their family, Nixa Schools, and the entire Nixa Community.
John Perry Mission Statement: To be a positive shining light for others, while remaining curious each day and making a difference in this world by positively influencing others.
A mission statement is a statement about WHY we exist as an organization and as a
human being. It describes the overall purpose and intentions. The mission statement
should support the vision statement and serve to communicate the purpose and
direction to all people involved.
As with the vision statement from yesterday, it has to be more than a picture on the
wall. It has to be spoken and spoken often. Our team may struggle to repeat the
whole mission statement but I would bet big money if you asked them why we play
football in Nixa, MO they would say to make our family, school and community proud.
It is about more than me as an individual. It is so much easier to push through
adversity and tough times when I am doing it for someone else. Why do so many
parents sacrifice so much for their children? They exist to make their lives better and
will do anything when it comes to their children.
Speak it into existence. Visit it daily. Live it out! Go be great today and make a
difference in this world.
