How Can I Get 1% Better Today?
The answer – Reconnect With Someone.
How often does that old friend cross your mind? How often do you think about the
childhood memories you had with your cousins? My bet is pretty often. I know I do. A
song, a smell, a TV show can bring memories flooding back. Why not send that person
a text, email, or even a message on Facebook?
When you relive good memories it often makes you smile and fills your heart with joy.
Share that joy with the person you created the memories with. Let them know that you
haven’t forgotten about them or the good times that you shared together. If the thoughts
took you down memory lane and back to a good time in your life then it will probably do
the same for your friend. Think of the smile you can put on their face just by reaching
out to them and letting them know that they made such an impact on your life that you
are still thinking about them.
God calls us to serve others. Reconnecting is a really easy way to do that.
Hebrews 10:24-25
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not
giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one
another—and all the more as you see the day approaching.”
