How Can I Get 1% Better Today?

THE ANSWER: Give Grace.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Ephesians 2:8–9

Grace is a gift we didn’t earn—and one we’re called to give away freely.

Every single one of us falls short. We miss the mark. We say the wrong thing. We react instead of respond. That’s why grace isn’t optional—it’s essential. When we give grace, we create space for growth, healing, and restoration. And when grace is given, grace has a funny way of finding its way back to us.

Giving grace doesn’t mean excusing poor behavior. It means choosing forgiveness over resentment, understanding over judgment, and compassion over pride. It’s deciding not to keep score. It’s choosing relationships over being “right.”

Scripture puts it plainly:
“Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
Colossians 3:13

So here’s your 1% challenge today:
Who needs grace from you right now?
A teammate. A coworker. A family member. Maybe even yourself.

Give grace generously. Receive it humbly.
That’s how we grow.
That’s how we lead.
That’s how we make the world a little better—one decision at a time.

Never Stop Getting Better,
