THE ANSWER: BE LIKE MIKE.
Mike White. I bet you’ve never heard of him.

The talk shows said it would be a blowout.
Jets were 1–5. Bengals were 5–2.
Jets were banged up. Their starting QB was out.
Enter Mike White.
Cut by five NFL teams.
Never started an NFL game.
Unknown. Unproven. Overlooked.

He completed his first 11 passes. Finished 37 for 45.
Threw for over 400 yards.
Before it was over, 60,000 people in the Meadowlands were chanting his name.
